gchempaint (Debian chroot) seg fault
 

Hi,

Having installed the wonderful 'Easy Debian Turbo Charged Edition' I had a root around for available apps and being a chemist I thought gchempaint sounded fantastic. Anyway on to the problem, when I try to boot gchempaint in the terminal I get:

(process:4193) : GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.18.4/gobject/gtype.c:2458: initialisation assertion failed, use IA__g_type_init( ) prior to this function

(process:4193) : GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_new: assertion 'G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed

(process:4193) : GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
Segmentation fault

So knowing next to nothing about programming or linux any ideas what is wrong or what can be done to fix it?
