Pidgin sound stops working
 

Hi,

I use Pidgin on my recently bought N810 to chat on MSN. Pidgin on Maemo works quite well for me. However, there is one small problem: the sound stops working after some time. This seems to occur at random time intervals, even in the middle of a chat. Restarting Pidgin makes the sound work again. Also, when the sound has stopped working, even if I open the "Preferences" dialog and click "Preview" for sound events, it is still completely silent.

Does anyone else have this problem? Has anyone else found a reason/solution?

I've had a similar problem and haven't been able to figure out how to fix it. I think manipulating the sound control on the tablet makes it work again.
