SMS to gtalk in rtcomm
 

first off I am not a Grand Central (now google voice) user. I've put in my requests to start an account but am still waiting.
So here is my problem: I have been using my SMS through gtalk built in at mt gmail account. But I cannot figure how to send and receive SMS through that same gtalk account in my Client. It won't receive the text when someone sends it to the 406 number associated with my gtalk account. Can anyone help me? I want to send and receive SMS through my rtcomm gtalk client. What am I missing? Thanks much

google now blocks sms through gtalk from outside clients

I can still email to SMS for free. They can hit reply to respond. I guess that will have to do.
