Audio Player OS2006
Just bought my 770 about a month ago and think it's a very interesting device so far (having come from a Psion using background) with lots of learning ahead.
OS2006 seems to not give any help at all about how to use the built in Audio Player. The book which came with it is useless (and is for OS2005 anyway) and the 770's own help is, er, not much help! Is there a more in depth help somewhere, please? I don't understand how the Audio Player structure works in relation to playlists and so forth. I have a bunch of WMAs on the memory card - with my phone, the music player does a search and finds them and arranges them - this does not seem to be able to do this and relies on creating Playlists. I think I have now done this but then every time I turn Audio Player off, the playlist is still there from the last session and I can't seem to get rid of it and start a new one. Is the Remove command significant here or am I going to delete the tracks from the card using that? I have downloaded the OggPlay app (as I've been using Ogg files for years) but that seems to be just as un-automated (obviously using ogg files and not WMAs). Sorry if this is a FAQ but I did try to search the forums first with not much joy - I think everyone here must just be brighter than me! Thanks Tim |
You need the playlist app...

The tool is called PLCreator and is available here: http://maemo.org/maemowiki/Applicati...78764586cde0f1
Although the description only mentions .MP3 files, so I have no idea if it will work with WMA's. |
