Message: Unable to complete secure transaction

I got my brand new Nokia 770 Edition 2006 yesterday but
I'm not able to connect with the Opera browser to a secure
page with a SSL certificate from Starfield Tech. like:
https://certificates.starfieldtech.com/Repository.go

I just get the message: Unable to complete secure transaction

Same situation after I imported the root certificate from Starfield Tech.
https://certificates.starfieldtech.c...lass2-root.crt

No problems at all with Starfield Tech. SSL certificates
with Firefox/Linux! I hope you can help me with a solution...
...or maybe just a nice word ;-)

Thanks a lot!

I had an identiccal situation, in my case in the Opera Settings for Security and Privacy, I found that I needed to check the SSL2 supprt checkbox... after that I was able to enter the secure site.

Hi, I solved this problem by entering the correct date and time. After I had to reflash the Nokia, I had problems loggin on to gmail. The calendar was off 1 month by som reason.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this fix. Had my tablet for over a year now and was the 1st time running into this problem after flashing. Time was right, but the date wasn't.

Thanks also - this one's been bothering me for ages now :o .

I'm amazed/had no idea that the time being off by (in my case) one hour (prob. made a mistake at setup with daylight savings on/off?) would stop SSL in its tracks like that - must be a bug?/don't think this happens on PCs/Macs?

Anyway, not a huge problem I guess, provided you know to look on forums like this one
