how to add the xorg "record" extension on maemo

hi all,
i'd like to know if there is a configuration file equivalent to /etc/X11/xorg.conf under maemo (diablo).
Actually i neither know the exact name of the window manager used in maemo...is it Xorg or some customized version?

My need is to add the "record" extension to it.

Thanks in advance.

bye bye

The window manager is Matchbox. The X server itself is Xomap, which is based upon KDrive.

That's beyond my level of knowledge, but I think Xomap, like KDrive, receives its entire configuration at compilation time.

It does take some configuration options on the command line. The options it takes will be very similar to the options for KDrive's Xfbdev x server.

You can find the currently used command line configuration settings under:
/etc/init.d/x-server

and
/etc/osso-af-init/x-server.defs

However be VERY CAREFUL if you want to try and modify them, because if you goof something up and cause the x-server to fail to start you'll get your tablet caught in an endless reboot loop!! (the x-server script is setup so that if it fails, it restarts and tries to boot the tablet again)
