Cannot log in anymore on talk.maemo.org using N810
 

The last two weeks the site changes very rapidly.
Now I am unable to log on the site using the N810 browser, only from a compter.
The username can be filled in but when I fill in the password field, the letters do not appear as stars and when I click on 'Go' it does not log on.
When I click on the password field with the small onscreen keyboard, the URL appears in the field.
Probably a Javascript / CSS error on the site.

Are you using Tear or another alternative browser? I have no trouble logging into Talk using MicroB and the default talk.maemo.org theme.

I've set the user agent of MicroB to Windows Vista and now it works again.

same here on the N800 with thumb keyboard:

the first issue is that i don't really see what i type. only the upper half (third?) of each character is visible.... font too big or text input field too small, whatever.

the real problem, though, is that when i enter a password on the thumb keyboard, it disappears again before i can hit "go". using the vkb instead helped.

It actually can work from Tear, or any broswer (on the N810) if you do it just like this:

First, click the remember button, so you only have to do it once.

1. click the username box
2.type the username (w/ physical keyb)
3.click the password box
4.type the password (again with phys kb) and hit the keyb ENTER button to complete it

The reason I say to use the physical keyboard is that I err a lot with the onscreen one, which always lead to me typing the wrong pwd.
