Google Broke Maemo Mapper
 

Do to something google did in the last few days, maemo mapper has not be able to download any google maps. For many people this is less of a problem but most of the roads I use to get from site to site are only on google street maps. I am hoping someone knows of a different way to get these maps or has any info on when these maps will be back up.

I was about to post that sjg, but you beat me to it.

I found it by typing "google maps" into our very own search tool at the top of this page.

I'm surprised that this current thread wasn't recommended to you automatically before you hit the "Submit new thread" button new004lagmaster

Why don't you bring it up in there and maybe the people who subscribed to that thread can help you out. :)

BTW: This happens from time to time with Google. It may simply be server maintenance on their end because it will usually correct itself in a week or two.

If you need maps try Microsoft's or Yahoo's repositories instead.

Also: This is apparently only affecting Google street maps. Satellite maps and Traffic layers from Google are fine at my end.
