Request: Webkit RSS Reader
Would any dev be interested in this? Basically, rigging up a Tear-based RSS feed reader.
I know I'm not the only one who has been getting fed-up with the feed reader and its unresponsiveness and lagginess. Please and thank you :D |
Re: Request: Webkit RSS Reader
Hmm... Or maybe something integrated? :)
Btw, the mobile Google Reader is actually quite good. http://www.google.com/reader/i/ |

Prob wouldn't be hard to link feedcircuit w/ tear instead of microb. (i already do by bookmarking in tear each feed's items page that's created by feedcircuit.) voila.

Didn't we have a google gears port around here somewhere? And... Bundyo, could it be integrated into Tear? |
Re: Request: Webkit RSS Reader
No, but WebKit already has local SQL storage (no need for Gears). I only need to find out why it doesn't work. :D
Check this in Safari/Chrome (only Safari 4 beta tested, Chrome 1/2 doesn't have it): http://webkit.org/misc/DatabaseExample.html EDIT: Now this is working in Tear too :) |
