Nah.. These devices are EOL. Unless they open up the runtime, what we have is what we have.

Also note that the tablets don't have an Nvidia GPU, they have a PowerVR GPU that does not currently have drivers.

Maybe we'll get a flash update after all.

As it stands, I am having a very hard time finding anything that doesn't want me to download the latest flash from adobe :-/

I just sent an email to the openscreen people.

I was very polite (which took some work ;)).

Maybe they'll help us update flash!

(I'm not holding my breath, tho :-/)

A more promising quote might have been:

Emphasis added.

I'm not holding my breath either though.

I have serious reservations about projects which are platforms within platforms. I mean, seriously - 'develop once and deploy everywhere' ? Isn't that a transliteration of the Java 'write once, run anywhere' motto ? These efforts always managed to turn out as write once, debug everywhere :( Let's see if this conglomerate does any better - I don't think so, but let's give them the benefit of a doubt.

Well, as an interesting aside, HTML 5 will end the need for flash. All you'll need is an HTML5 compliant browser, and support installed for open codecs and the problem of flash goes away. :)
