Simple mp3 player
 

I want to use my 770 as a simple mp3 player for my handicapped wife to read Daisy audio books. For this I would like to have a very simple mp3 audio player program to use as a starting point. I tried to use the minimad example from libmad, but I couldn't get it to make sound, it just produces an unplayable stream of bits.
The only features I need is that it can play the mp3s from a folder in alphabetical order, keeping track of what it played and when started again after stop/exit, resume where it left off. Mostly 4 big buttons with play/pause, stop, skip forward and skip backward.
Any help is appreciated.
