"Optical navi" sensor in new Nokia E72... maybe in Rover too?
 

The new Nokia E72 is said to have an "optical navi" sensor taking the place of the normal d-pad.

Maybe the new maemo device is going to have something similar?

That would be awesome in the N900. But the mockup from mc showed two "pads" in the front, and they were both round. The current thoughts seem to be that they pobably are a poximity sensor and a front camera. Hope these are wrong, or maybe the pad would be somewhere onthe back?
