hmm, i do not see git listed, even tho it was found inside the firmware, iirc...

its funny, palm seems to have pulled of what openmoko was hoping to do...

Another take-away from that video: don't shut down your Pre! At almost 2 minutes from power button press to power on, you want to avoid booting!

? This is very-very far from what OpenMoko was supposed to be (open even in development phase, no closed parts, etc). When we have (legal and supported) ability to flash custom firmwares and deal with the telephony stack directly, then we'll be talking. It certainly is a step in a good direction, but there is a long way to go before you can call a device open.
