Why doesn't Privoxy work with Midori?
I have 3 browsers installed on my N810: MicroB, Midori and Fennec. I installed Privoxy to block ads on web pages and it runs fine.
My problem: Privoxy filters web pages only in Fennec. Midori ignores it: the advertising shows up and when I go to http://www.privoxy.org/config/ it says: Privoxy is not being used. MicroB doesn't work at all when Privoxy is switched on for my WiFi connection at home. Does anybody have an idea? I would like to use Midori as my main browser and block the ads on web pages. Fennec is too slow and screenspace is spare on the N810. Thanks a lot! Markus |
