Installed app in Easy-Debian, missing packages

Through the Synaptic Package Manager.

It went through process of isntalling package, though said it couldn't find the following items... but I let it continue. Kguitar doesn't appear under Installed, but under "Not Installed"

apt-get update

in the terminal or reload in Synaptic fixes that.

Brent is right; the package list is too old, and it is trying to get old packages that aren't in the repositories any more.
