[Canola] Upnp + Vorbis ?
 

Hi ,

Why Upnp in Canola works quite great with Flac & mp3 , it just does not want to show up the ogg/vorbis files.

I tried in my media Server ( Media tomb ) to change the mimeType from application/ogg to audio/ogg as I guess it's transmitted through the Upnp XML list, But it's still not working.

I have the canola vorbis plugin installed.

Anyone have a succefull setup for this ?

No one ? I tried to change the Mimetype in MediaTomb but it does not change anything, How to get some debug output from canola ?

Just to say I just tried with rhythmbox karmic which played the ogg files located on my mediatomb without any problem so bug in canola it seems.

Where is the bugtracker ? isn't there other people facing this bug ?

MediaTomb reports Ogg Vorbis with MIME type text/plain by default. That's why some UPnP clients have trouble recognizing it as music.

Edit: Oops, sorry, no, that was MythTV reporting text/plain...

I really need to try again to install MediaBox , I guess it would solve my problems as it's opensource
