software keyboard?
 

looking for a keyboard that i can manually pull up, or if there's a way to invoke the built in keyboard for non-hildonized apps. specifically, i'm trying to change some parameters in xmms-the built in keyboard won't automatically pop up in the dialog boxes...

The matchbox keyboard in the Debian package would probably be what you're after. I would link, but I'm being lazy on holiday :P

hmm... was http://matchbox-project.org/screenshots.html what you were talking about? if so, i'm afraid i'm not sure what to do with it. i'm hoping to find just a simple keyboard program that i can just pull up anytime, and not need whatever signal hildon uses to pull up its software keyboard.
