2008 OS Update
 
I just purchased an N810. It currently has version 1.2007.4-19. I see the current download version is 4-2008-36-5. SInce I am a new user I have a couple questions:

Is the update worthwhile?

Does the update 'normally' run smoothly? I have not loaded any new apps and have backed up all files

The update does run smoothly, and it fixes some bugs as well. You should probably do a backup (if you've already customized things) and flash your n810 to the latest software version by connecting it to your computer and downloading the tablet flasher program.

The current download version is NOT 4-2008-36-5.
It is 5.2008.43-7.
