Sure I can help(I think). I've made all the dumb mistakes, so I can share what I've learned.

First, does it let you log in? When you put in your log in name and password, does the Dial tab turn green after a few seconds. If no, then check for updates. The App has been recently updated.

Second, if you have been able to log in, the go to the "account" tab for your settings. Make sure your tablets number is selected for the call back number. This is the number that GV calls first...then goes on to the number you want to reach.
These are the first two most obvious problems. Let me know if that helps.
Here is the thread about Dialcentral and all that is going on with it.

Feel free to post on the main Dialcentral thread, you will be more likely to have a larger audience.

Are you trying to send an SMS from the Dialpad, Recent Tab, or Messages Tab? US or international number? Have you tried SMSing your cell phone to check if you can receive even that?

Those are great starting points for debugging. I've decided to create a debugging section on the first post of the Dialcentral thread based on this

I logged in and it let me log in and such, but the dial button did not change and turn green, it stayed the same. What should I do? Its updated to.

Can you check the "About" dialog found in the application menu for what version you are running? If you can't get it there you should see it in the Application Manager when viewing installed applications.

Do you feel comfortable opening a Terminal and typing:
Code:

python2.5 /usr/bin/dialcentral.py
This will print a lot of debug information which can help in resolving your issue

I assume the keyboard interrupt was you. Other than that I don't see anything wrong. The raw output suggests you are canceling the log in which sounds kind of odd.

Have you given 1.0.4-5 a try? Its been promoted to extras.

I'm still on 1.0.3 and have the extras catalog selected for both distribution "" and chinook but can see the update. should I have extra for distribution diablo as well?

I never saw it in the updates either. I installed it from this link.

Also, as per epage's request, THIS is the real-deal Dialcentral Thread.
