Nokia mobile device with 3D display (stereoscopic)
I'm glad to see Nokia putting a good effort into R+D.
Here's a report of an N800 outfitted with an auto-stereocopic display as well as some of Nokia's plans/developments. In a nutshell Auto-stereoscopic means you can view 3D images/videos/games/etc without requiring special glasses. http://research.nokia.com/research/mobile3D I suspect the only thing better than an N900 is an N900 where things pop-out from the screen at you. Could make for some very cool interfaces and apps. ;) I just had a vision that the fabled 'apple tablet' will come stock with one of these displays. Weird. }:^)~ |

Has anyone tried to compile this under Linux? It went well on Win, but it complains that it's missing ratecontrol.h on my Ubuntu box.

Well it seems that someone in Nokia doesn't know that Linux is case sensitive. The source files include ratecontrol.h, while RateControl.h is present in the include directory.
