Maemo Recorder recording nothing
 

On my n810, I have tried to record lectures and such with no success.

The audio in playback has nothing there...in other words it's blank (I have checked it in audacity)

- The file sizes are appropriate to what they should be ~70MB for ~80mins, in wav format
- Microphone is working (tested with Echo123 in skype)
- There is sufficient room on my Internal Memory
- n810 was purchased in June/09

My n770 was able to record lectures via MRecorder, but my n810 is not able to. Help please :)

Have you tried Seqretary to try and record something?

One part of this program (Seqretary Recorder) is an audio recording app.

Do you have your sound muted when recording? It seems like the microphone doesn't work in the guitar tuner application until you unmute the speakers.

Sometimes when I had this problem if I moved the device volume down and then up again it would work ok, not always though, so I usually just recorded like 2 seconds of junk, to make sure it was working before relying on it to record something useful.
