WTB N800 Battery & Charger
 
My N800's battery is jacked up, and the tip from my charger broke off. I have seen batteries on amazon for 30 - 40 bucks, but does anyone know a better deal? Or if you have a spare, would you be willing to sell it?

you can always eBay it - although it will all be knock-off stuff - $20 would probably get you at least 1 battery and a charger

Yeah, go for ebay, I got a battery for my n800 for $5 with free shipping. Granted it doesn't quite last as long as the original but hey, for $5 I'm not complaining.

Try to at least get one which is labeled 1500mAh.... I've seen some BP-5L batteries on ebay that are labeled at 740mAh.... that is just stupid for an internet tablet.

For sure, but even the knock off ones that are labeled 1500mAh are not quite up to par with the original battery. I have one as a spare that is labeled 1500mAh and it most definitely does not hold up as long.

I ended up getting two chargers and a battery on ebay for like $12. The battery actually seems to be a lot better than my original one. It's heavier, and at full charge it says 7 hrs (although it's probably more like 4, MAYBE 5). That's a lot better than my original one, which listed at like 5 or 6 hrs at full charge =)

Nice, can you give me the link the the finished auctions? I'm interested in buying at least 1 battery myself. Did you get the desktop charger? any good?
