what's up with the imap support in the email client?

I am constantly seeing messages deleted from desktop on the 770 as unread. I like the system integration but is there an alternative client? Webmail works well actually... but I prefer email apps.

There's been quite a few complains about the client. I find myself having to constantly delete messages because it seems to get bogged down. Not to mention the fact that there's no real support for folders either. I've been on the lookout for something else in regards to e-mail clients but I haven't seen anything. I guess its pretty far down on the list or something.

I have to delete messages that have already been deleted on the server... very annoying. It's as if the client does not make an accurate server connection -- only for new messages.

I tried installing Pine, but I am missing a some files - even from the repository link. At least my webmail with Fastmail.fm works well.
