Setting Thai font and Thai on screen keyboard
Requirement -Must installed bash shell for maemo and suder Install thai font 1. Use your N810 download lastest fonts from ftp://linux.thai.net/pub/thailinux/software/thai-ttf and save to user home. 2. Unpack the "thai-ttf-x.x.x.tar.gz" then rename the unpacked dirrectory to "thai-ttf". 3. Make directory ".fonts.conf" under user home and "include" under ".fonts.conf" 4. Copy *.conf from "thai-ttf/etc/fonts/conf.avail" to ".fonts.conf/include" 5. Move "thai-ttf" to "/usr/share/fonts" (sudo mv thai-ttf /usr/share/fonts) 6. Reboot your tablet. Install thai on screen keyboard 1. Install "Additional keyboard layouts v1.9-1" http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/ukeyboard/ 2. Tap Start>Settings>Control panel 3. Tap "Text Input Settings" Text input (ukeyboard) will appear. 4 Tap on "Languages" tab you will see 2nd language then tap on drop down you will see Thai Kedmanee in the list, select it. |

Using Midori as a browser works with rendering in Thai.
