N810 not booting to internal SD card after Firmware Upgrade
 

After performing the N810's over the air software upgrade it booted to the internal flash OS. While I'm running (cloned the OS) on the internal SD card as you remember...

Anyway, I ran that set-root-device command from the flash OS when it booted but I'm not getting any menu in the boot process. I'm guessing it probably messed something else during the upgrade (I think I remember having this issue before). Do you have any thoughts what is going on?

You need to reinstall the boot menu. You still need to upgrade the OS on the SD. When you upgrade, the boot menu gets wiped, so you'll need to install the boot menu again. Use "Console-tools" to install boot menu.

Did you mean to say that I still need to upgrade the OS on the flash?
I didn't find the app Console-tools when searching for packages...

Hello, I've been with my new (bought used) N810 for 4 hours and the things is pretty stright forward, but I guess there is something wrong.

when i go Control Panel > About, there is no "OS version", it just say Unknown (where I suppose it should be).

Is there a "terminal-console" way to check OS version?

(i'll post the problems I detected later on a post)
