maemo5 contacts editor
Hi,
Can anyone recommend an Ubuntu app that will allow me to import and edit the vcf files exported by maemo5's contacts application? I like to use Mozilla Thunderbird, but it's address book is somewhat lacking. I found an add-on that will import vcf files, but it misses a whole chunk of field (and only allows 4 'other' ones). Anyone? Max. |
Re: maemo5 contacts editor
I think kmail is the one which has best vcf support ...
but i would prefer to setup a local LDAP for managing this, if this is possible ? syncml may be a track too Regards -- http://rzr.online.fr/q/contacts |

I was wondering how Evolution would work since it's like Exchange..

Re: maemo5 contacts editor
As a workaround, any way for you to upload your contacts to a Google/Gmail account? I think it supports importing CSV or vCard files. Once there, you can sync your contacts with the N900 using Mail for Exchange via Gmail's Exchange support.
