Native Google Voice Integration
I've checked the relevant threads and haven't seen a discussion on this, so is anyone working on native integration of Google Voice into Maemo? I've been using GV on my iPhone and can't stand that I have to wait for messages to load from the Google server every time I launch the website or GV Mobile (a jailbreak, third party solution). I have also demoed DialCentral but was disappointed to see that it too requires loading the messages on launch. I would love the N900 but am afraid that I wouldn't be able to use the native dialer without going through a separate application for a simple call. So is it possible to integrate GV like Google Talk, Skype, etc. on Maemo?
Thanks in advance. |

Unfortunetly I've been busy with other projects, but I would love it if people could help out with this, especially if you know Telepathy.

Does anyone know how to permanently spoof the outgoing caller ID for all cellular calls? This would be a dirty but effective method for using GV until epage completes his One Ring project.

Re: Native Google Voice Integration
You mean call out from Google Voice? Normally you have to call your GV #, type in your PIN, press 2, then type in the # you want to call. I believe I read something on the Google Voice group that you can automate this if you program a # in the address book like.
GV#PIN2#youwanttocall So it's essentially a long string of #s. |
