N810: File downloader not working (on any browser)
Hello,
I searched for a thread addressing this topic but came up empty! When click on a file to download, the proper download window appears. Instead of rapidly moving towards 100% completion, the download status remains at 0%. Eventually the "resume download" option becomes available. When I click to resume, I receive a message stating that the indicated drive is not available and that I should use local memory. If I try to download into the internal storage or N810 memory I receive another error message asking me if I want to retry the download. When I first began experiencing this problem I was generally able to download into internal storage. Now, I'm stuck. This occurs with every browser I've used (it is the same download application, I think). Does anyone have any helpful suggestions??? Thanks in advance! |

Try putting this in the "N810" specific forum. You'll get lots of answers there.

Try to delete your swap file and then try to download something.

Thanks for the suggestions! How do I delete the swap file?

Re: N810: File downloader not working (on any browser)
I went in through the Lightweight Desktop Environment, selected the ability to see hidden files and deleted swap. I am a major novice but LDE is enough like Windows for me to figure it out! I'll see if I can download now.
Update. I can download again! Thanks very much! BTW Fragos, it's nice to see someone else from the Fresno metro area. |

Happy to hear it worked out for you.
If you haven't already, try out EmelFM2 - it's a much more powerful File Manager application than the pre-installed one. |
