770 and nokia PC Suite connectivity
 

I have tried to connect but keep getting the message that it will not because phone file transfer mode is on......How do I turn it off and set up/sync with the pc suite?

What do you want to synchronize? Ask that first...

The PC Suite is set up to synchronize Outlook data with the Nokia/Symbian OS PIM suite. The 770 does not use this PIM software; the 3rd party PIM software does not use the PC Suite; and files don't synchronize with the PC Suite. There are other functions in the PC Suite (transfer music, view multimedia), but those don't work with the 770 either.

About the only thing the PC Suite does is recognize a USB connection and claim incompatibility.

So I think you are using the wrong software, or have the wrong purpose in mind. (Or maybe I'm missing a whole use of the PC Suite altogether...).

I am looking for software that i can download/sync my outlook calendar and contacts. Are you aware of any product I can purchase that can do that?

gpalton: DejaDesktop sells a syncrhonisation service. Alternatively you can do it through ScheduleWorld to GPE Calendar:
