I was shocked when I saw the device available here last weekend, I immediately went and grabbed one for $580 with 2 years warranty.
It can read Arabic text, but does not have an Arabic physical keyboard.
It's also available in UAE (Dubai) and Saudi Arabia.

So far, this is the best gadget ever!

Does it have the full four arrows QWERTY keyboard? I ask because here in Romania most likely it will first show up imported from Dubai before Nokia officially imports it.

$ 580 ha ? they selling it here in dubai with 850$ price tags , i guess they mixed up with the digits ...

where did u see that? I am in Abu Dhabi right now and they have a bunch for Dhs3000 which is about $820.

i wonder why the extra charge here????

so i guess it's widely released in UAE so ? i'll have a trip through Emirates airlines which has transit in dubai for 4hrs so can i find it @the Dubai duty free stores?? plzzzzz help my trip after 10hrs!

At the moment its only directly available through the nokia stores in the city.. i hope they have one for you at the duty free :)
