N900 x PC Suite
So... what is the PC Suite actually for?
Correct me if I am wrong, please: -I cant send messages from it -I cant sync with multiple calendars from outlook (just one and not the one I wanted) -I cant download my photos using the "store images" button -I cant open "download maps" -I cant install applications There are 2 or 3 functions that are possible with it. For me the worse thing is not syncing with multiple calendars... (Nokia Ovi suite doesnt support n900 either) version 7.1.40.1 WinXP |
Re: N900 x PC Suite
I have not tested yet but I think you also should be able to tether your laptop via USB cable

Re: N900 x PC Suite
That's pretty bad for Average Joes.
Nokia failed in this section. |
Re: N900 x PC Suite
But does it work via bluetooth?
On Win7 I can only connect to it via USB edit: suddenly it started to work also via bluetooth!! maybe a reboot was needed :-) Roberto |

Re: N900 x PC Suite
anyone knows if there are the drivers needed for the bluetooth peripherals to be correctly installed under win7 x64?
thank you, Roberto |
Re: N900 x PC Suite
Store images from PC Suite seems to work for me, but only for images stored on the internal storage.
Some playing around with the tracker.cfg file has everything fine now where I only see images that I'm interested in (not the internal theme images for example) and syncs only those that are tracked (and located in the internal storage). |

I use Ubuntu for my desktop OS and CentOS for servers......... I find it somewhat ironic/*****ic that a linux Nokia phone cant sync with a linux desktop but hey i think its a case of "you bought the wrong device *****" ??? |
Re: N900 x PC Suite
PC Suite wont work correctly with N900 , NEW updated Ovi Suite 2.2.0.245 works perfectly, however sms sending and message reading is still not supported Link to Ovi Suite
@francorg Just install Ovi Suite , bluetooth works with generic Microsoft drivers which are automatically installed |
