n900 image transfer
I've gotten ahold of an N900, but for the life of me can't figure out how to transfer images to my PC. I've tried PC Suite and Mass Storage modes. Both don't show any of the images I've taken with the camera. Any clues?

Re: n900 image transfer
If you have a memory card in there they will show up in a folder called DCIM. The drive should show up as a mass storage device.

Re: n900 image transfer
Mass storage: open 'my computer' or whatever is the equivalent and find the n900. Folder DCIM contains your images.
If you're not seeing the n900 at all under 'my computer' you need an updated version of nokia pc suite for the drivers. |
Re: n900 image transfer
BTW on mac, no extra software required

Re: n900 image transfer
Thanks, guys. Any reason why they don't just call it "images" or something? Where does the DCIM logic come from?

Re: n900 image transfer
Every camera I ever connected, including phone cams used that term. I have no idea what it means!
