Contacts (vCard) over WebDAV
Hi,
I've been playing around with my N900 now for a few days and i was disappointed that there is no way to save your contacts (except for Exchange) on a remote location. Yes, i can export my contacts to the vCard format and import vCard, but i want to do this automatically. After some searching on my phone i found out that the addressbook is save in "/home/user/.osso-abook/db/addressbook.db", which is a Berkeley 4.4 database. On my desktop and laptop i use Evolution (Linux mail client) which saves my contacts on a WebDAV share, so i am thinking about building my own application for synchronizing my contacts from my WebDAV share to the local Berkeley database. But before i start i was wondering if anyone knows about a project doing the same thing? I've been searching the web and haven't been able to find anything. |
