Hello

Theres any way to place icons on the panel instead of widgets? can i change the color of the windows borders? what if i want any color instead of black? see this link and think about it.

this is an early stage device and they got their themes, n900 is a mass producction device, so why they dont think about the stetic, its not the most important but belive me, the stetic sells.

You can place any icon on any desktop by pressing an empty place on any desktop. A "gear" will appear at the top. Press for more options. You can drag any shortcut, widget, or bookmark to any location.

The window border colors are controlled by the theme. You can choose themes and download others to get the one you like. Wallpaper of any theme can be replaced, so its really about borders and icons.

All the features are there. You just have to learn the new interface.

thanks a lot for the reply, it happens when someone doesnt now something, when that one doesnt received the n900 yet. i think that forums are for that, any problem with it?

Frankly yes.

At least use the thing before you decide to come up with intresting nifty things to say that make you look completely oblivious. It appears that i am old an crusty. This internet thing wears me thin most days.

You dont have one of those yet? Been using mine for a while.

On the "condescending" note, i believe that we should hold our fellows to a higher standard, and its that fact that we dont that feeds the lack of education. But whatever, like i said im just an old crusty **** whos been sittin here too long.

What is going on around this place? Ive been lurking here for a couple of weeks before I signed up/got my device and really. I gotta ask what the frack is up with people doing their best to belittle others?

Some guys are new here and haven't figured out how to handle themselves in this type of environment, and others just "love to argue on the internet". This is a public forum, so any rude jerk can make him or herself at home, but for the most part, things are good. The useless trolls will quiet over time. It was far worse a couple months ago. I nearly lost my top dealing with some of these chaps.
