imho they should fire most of the UI team and hire some ppl from Apple, Palm, RIM or Android to catch-up with a 21st century UI.

Besides all this it's still a good device, but could have been better.

Your post is wrong in so many ways, i have to make a list:

there's a first impression thread. Some people use it for this kind of stuff
many of your problems have already been mentioned on said thread
you make it sound like nobody ever said a word about those problems. just having a look around here shows otherwise. Or maybe you were expecting these things to be said by marketing people (it's their job to say just enough, you know)
how the ui is outdated beats me, all i've heard is praises for it. IMO it's pretty nice
it's not a camera, and how many phones actually have hdmi output. and for that matter, how many have tv-out either?
profiles and ringtone will probably get fixed soon, though i have to give you that, they give an unfinished feeling
maybe a 5" screen on a same size device? better yet, make it 19" (i love my desktop monitor)
