testing flash performance on the n900
 

i,ve been interested in how good it would be for a while. and i have to admit i am impressed...

iplayer works fine for me, and games look good. but it struggles with my own website!

compare this site on the n900, and a laptop/desktop! to be fair, i am impressed it even loads and looks ok!!!

i'm an amateur photographer in case you wondered hehehe

Your page loads fine on mine. I like the medianess of it. LOL. It takes a while to load, but hearing that music is great. Its the last barrier to getting the real web on our phones. The balled up paper effect is grand. Is your site all Flash? It takes my device's proc to 75% with just it and Facebook open!

thanks! yeah its all flash. tests a few modern computers too!! overall i'm impressed with the n900's performance on it. loads on 3.5g in about 5secs.

didnt see the cpu load, well spotted!!!

nice site, viewing it on mines has a bit of lag but the music and everything else loads up fine.

hopfully when http://dailymobile.se/2009/10/26/fla...on-nokia-n900/ comes out on the n900 it would improve more

cheers thinh :) - yeah i agree - think it will make a good difference :) - will test my site when/if it does and would be a good compare hehe :)

does also show me that i seriously need to optimize my flash design/coding, :P
