can i just say, do not know about other than the uk, but in the uk the manual is a load a crap that comes with the phone, that because the phones very easy to use, but its why so many customer do not know how to do things as they only have like a 10 page manual not the big pdf thing on the net

The Net version is not bundled to save on trees.

I'm fine with there being no dead-tree version in the box, but why no manual in the phone? The dead-tree manual says there's a user guide in the phone, but I sure can't find it; nothing in the app manager or bookmarks. The get started app links to maemo.nokia.org for tutorial videos which, if they exist there, are not obvious. The PDF viewer has a directory for user guides, but it's empty.

There should be *some* user guide in some obvious place in the phone, especially since the paper manual says it's there, but there isn't.
