Media Player DB does not recognize FLAC
Hmmm,
Can't believe nobody has mentioned this in a big way yet. I can Play FLAC files out of the file manager, but the Media Player does not catalog them in the DB? Anybody else noticed this? Most of my songs have been FLAC'd, so kinda a PITA here. Seems an easy fix. |
Re: Media Player DB does not recognize FLAC
Just checked this and I can confirm. FLAC files land in Uknown.

Re: Media Player DB does not recognize FLAC
For you guys who play FLAC files, how do you play more than one at a time? I tried to go into the file manager and use Ctrl-A for select all and nothing happens. It will play then one at a time if I click on them, but only one at a time.

Re: Media Player DB does not recognize FLAC
I can see the FLAC files under Unknown in the Media Player and from there I can play them.

ls *.flac > flacs.m3u I don't have any flac files, so I am not certain that this would work. |

Its not a bug as such, ogg support simply does mot support tags yet. Annoying yes but thats community software, you cant expect everything all at once for free.

I'm a little confused though. The post was about FLAC support. How did we get onto ogg tag? |
