Testing software for usability and user experience

Hi,

I recently bought my N900 and I'm enjoying every moment of use. I can consider myself as a very satisfied user.

I would like to do something for the community that is responsible for this great amount of effort that has been put into the device and all of the extra applications.

I'm not a software developer by profession. I'm a Usability and User Experience designer for a market research software company. But I can test software for bugs.

My main question is: 'Is it allowed to create bug reports for Usability issues?'

I certainly hope so, although I'd steer clear of the Ovi Maps app, or you'll never get away from it :)

For community software I think it's a good idea, but please report the bugs as enhancements requests. For the platform itself I think you should use the brainstorm platform[1] instead.
