Linux synchronisation
Hi,
i know that N900 is linux powered and i have a linux deskop , is there a software to synchronise by usb my calendar, contact and todo list from n900 to linux evolution or i prefer thunderbird without using internet connection. For me it's the base but i don't find anything about linux synchronisatuion by usb ... thanks for all |
Re: Linux synchronisation
At the moment, there is nothing. The N900 was made to appease both Linux users and windows users. Windows user at the moment have no problems sync with the N900 but if you are a linux user, good luck trying to sync with the N900.

Re: Linux synchronisation
there is no way, by copying file or by syncML ?
it's absolutly make no sence |
Re: Linux synchronisation
Don't worry, you're not alone. I can't sync my Mac either. Or in fact, as you say, any of my Linux boxes. Or, indeed, my existing phone.

Re: Linux synchronisation
I hope one using SyncML will be made soon (either from Nokia or by a developer here). I don't have that many contacts I actually call and I was planning on using Google Voice most of the time so it doesn't effect me as much but it would be nice to have a Linux and OSX method instead of a Windows only method.

Re: Linux synchronisation
It doesn't make sense that you can't sync a linux smartphone with a linux box!
Surely there must be some way. |
