quick and dirty hacks
It's monday evening in my timezone and tomorrow I have an exam/presentation. It would be cool to use my N900 for slides instead of laptop.
But tapping the screen every time I want to change slide can be annoying, so let's use N95 to change slides. But, as the exam is tomorrow and I'm supposed to study, this must be done in 10 minutes. It must just allow me to change slides (back and forward). So, let's use ssh on N95, connect to N900, write a little program that will read keyboard input (from N95) and then send fake key event to X, simulating key arrows/enter/backspace. You don't do it this way? It's stupid? Of course, but my presentation pilot works and it was ready in 8 minutes, 43 seconds. Plust this post and we're in the schedule ;) |
