EDIT: Turns out MFE can't be used with hotmail because MFE is for Activesync servers only and hotmail does not provide this support.

Been trying to find this out myself and posted the below on two other threads with no respones. Try registering for Nokia Messaging. Might work for your needs.

Could someone please please help me out. I got the N900 hoping I would not have to get a blackberry. But I am having problems with Nokia Messaging pushing emails to my device. Sometimes it happens but several times I have to do send and receive which is far far from ideal.

I want to try out MFE since Nokia Messaging is not pushing properly. But I have no idea how to set up my hotmail for MFE. When I go to MFE on the N900 it asks me a few questions I have no idea how to find the answer to:

- Domain (not sure if this has to be put in cause if I leave this blank it still lets me go on to next page in setup);

- Server

- Port (device automatically puts in 443 so I assume this is correct)

- Don't know if there would be anymore questions. Can't get past this page in the setup because I don't know the server.

I tried to go to this link hoping there would be an easy way with the settings I need sent to the device but it doesn't have N900 on the list of suppported phones.

Could someone kindly talk me through setting up hotmail for MFE. Thanks.

Okay... was easy enough >.>; was not thinking. All I needed to do was setup using @hotmail.com and just change my account info and email in settings to @msn. After that it worked perfectly fine ^_^
