Speaker issue?
 

Not sure if this is really a problem... but when I call someone and then press speaker, I hear this crackling sound while hearing the ring. But when the person talks to me, they sound perfectly fine. Anyone having this issue? Doesn't really bug me too much but wondering if it's a hardware or software problem *assuming software since speaker works fine when person talks to me / listening to music*. Anyone else having this issue?

oh good .. this means my ears are fine :) .. i hear the crackling that you are talking about ...

thanks taril ... but the problem we are talking about is when a call is made from the N900 and the speaker is turned on .. the ringing from the other side starts crackling, but when you actually start talking, its fine ..

cracking is everywhere on N900...

I have the same problem guys.
it is still no fixed.
Exactly like Akatsushi post.
I brought my N900 before 2 weeks and the threat is from 2009, may be it means it is old revision?!
