Pidgin Downgrade Question
 

Can anyone tell me how I can downgrade to the previous version of pidgin (2.6.2-0nix1 is what I'm wanting), I dont like how the menus are all spread out now for fingers it seems, and it has locked up on me on more than one occasion. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

apt-get install pidgin=2.6.2-0nix1 , perhaps.

in the download section, if you go to the homepage of pidgin, there are older versions...maybe there is the versiob you are searching for!

btw what problems have you with pidgin?

I dont like how the menus have been enlarged and Ive had it lock up on me in the middle of conversations about half a dozen times to where I have to force kill the process. I've nevev had that happen in earlier versions. And it seens as if the maximum volume for sounds has been drastically lowered so I never hear it ding.
