Gapless Playback
 

I hate to start it, but the other threads look dead, but is there a way to get gapless play back on the n900? Since I listen to a lot of trance/progressive mixes they are continuous. The gaps really suck with the segways.

I'm not sure that the issue is gapless play back as it is for support of .cue files. ".cue" file allow a CD to be ripped as an image and tells the player the location and length of each track.

My very first harddisk based MP3 player some 8 years ago had the capacity to import .cue files, along with the media file.

I'm about to give Exact Audio Copy (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) ago again and try it on my N900 to see if it plays continus Albums with the correct track information.

I'll let you know if it works. If not maybe one of the other media players supports it. Hope so anyway, the gaps are a real problem for that kind of music.

Gapless music without .cue files would be nice.
