N900 + Plantronics 975, no go
 

I have a new Plantronics 975 bluetooth headset, and a new N900, and they will not talk to each other over blue tooth. The headset works fine with my former phone (an LG Shine), and the N900 will also talk to the LG Shine, so I know they are both capable of bluetooth communication. why are they not seeing each other? Is this a known issue? Is this something that can be fixed with a software patch?

Never mind. User error on my part. My headset was tied to my other phone, and was unwilling to make itself available to other devices. I was able to resolve it by getting my headset into "multi point" mode.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. My Plantronics 975 is paired with my N95. I tried to put the Plantronics in multipoint mode.. still doesnt work... While in multipoint mode, i tried connecting the headset to other devices like Nokia N85 and Iphone as well. My Plantronics always connects only to N95.
Can you pls help me by giving the step by step instructions on putting the Plantronics to Multipoint mode? I feel I might have missed something while reading from the manual...
