We are trying to get it on Fremantle.....................soon, we mean real soon :)

If there is any stations you would like to see, either post it here or drop me a PM/bunanson(remove the brackets and this)@yahoo.com, we will see what we can do about it. We would like to have the streaming link, URL, brief description (less than 20 words), and comments (I love it, I live it, or the only TV station in town, things like that)

What is WorldTV99?
- WorldTV99
How much it cost?
- constantly/diligently working with the WorldTV99 teams, o/w it is FREE
How can you get it?
- Look around :)
How can you help?
- constantly/diligently working with the WorldTV99 teams

Enjoy,

bun and koos

Hi, that would be really great if you could get it working on the N900...
I've looked at the link...seems like a good app.
Here are channels that i would like to see added and have streams available online:

USA:
Sci-Fi Channel (SyFy Channel)
NASA Public
Fox 7
C-Span
MTV

Czech:
CT24
Nova
Prima
Prima Cool

Kuwait:
KTV1

UK:
VH1 Classics

:)

It is working when you submit it, i.e., you are watching it either from your winPC, mac, ubuntu box or whatnots. If it is a working stream and you want it, we will try to get it in.

For example, if you click this link, you should be able to watch it, http://www.cbc.ca/mrl3/8752/newsatsix/calgary.wmv ; or you can copy and paste into your player, vlc, wmp, winamp, it plays.

What about channels only available if you are in a specific country? I would love to see DR1, DR2 and DR K added but they are only available if you have a Danish IP address. Would it be possible to add them?
I can not provide the address for the stream now since I'm in Mexico, but when I move back to Denmark in January I'll post them.

Damn, I'd love to be in Mexico :)
We're going to have snow here tomorrow in Copenhagen, and everyone's freezing their *** off :)

Anyway, here are the links; I'm not sure which one's are the correct ones for the app, but they all work:

....

If you think it is good enough for watching, we will add them; and that would be enjoyable for people who have Danish IP address and keep in their favorite. For myself, I keep adding good channels from the library, WorldTV99, into my own favorites and I only switch to my favorites. So the library may be big and bulky, but my favorties are ALL watchable and manageble.

There have been some talks about how timely are the library, like they are NOT live TV, but prerecorded video streams. Well, on CNN breaking news, it is LIVE! On other TV programs, I have observed as little as 4 hrs delay, like CNN AnderCopper360.

Sorry, none of them work, it buffered, but no video. Are they h264? I doubt N900 plays them.

Any runner up stations? TIA,

bun
