What happens to paid apps when we re-flash?
 

Had a search and could not find anything covering this topic. Not sure if apps is the place for the thread but probably as good as any. Probably a good idea to start a thread on this as I can see quite a few people asking the following:

Question: What happens to paid apps if we have to re-flash?

Does the backup cover us for this? Not quite sure about Linux based stuff, but I know from Windows experience that sometimes you can't just get away with backing stuff up and then copying it back over, progs like to be installed each time. Hopefully this is not the case and its just the fact that Windows likes to spit the dummy :D

EDIT: Was aiming this at N900 users, but I guess its the same deal for all devices?

What paid for app are you referring to? AFAIK, there aren't any yet, at least for N900.

Plus Prismic will be out soon (N900 wallpaper manager), thats paid and there will be more.

I don't know what happens, but the reasonable thing would be that you could redownload all your paid apps as many times you like.

I guess it depends on how they handle it. If they give you a code then you just have to store the code somewhere (or keep it in the email).
