Email problem yahoo

I seem to be having a few problems with my Yahoo email through nokia messaging. I have a Gmail account set up using the built in email client which works fine, but Yahoo however, will not automatically check for emails (even though I have this set to hourly). Second problem: it is only showing that I have 10 emails, when infact, there are about 100. My 3rd problem, is that I just manually checked it and it is saying I have 2 new emails, but when I go to inbox no new messages show up. Help! Do I need to use the paid version of Yahoo?

Works fine for me, so you don't need the paid version :)

In email accounts, edit the account
Check the sychronisation screen

2 things that maybe stopping you are the "Disable sync when" - mine is set at Battery at 15%

the second is send and receive
Mine is set as "As soon as possible"

Works like push email for me :)

Re: Email problem yahoo

I seem to be having the same problem with my Hotmail and Windows Live accounts. Maybe I am missing something, but I was under the impression that when I delete an email on my n900, then click "Send and Receive" that it would delete the message on the Windows Live server as well. As it stands now, it seems to only download email data on my n900 but won't upload the fact that the email has been deleted (so as it stands now, I still need to login online to delete emails). Anyone else experiencing this?

Another email issue: I'm not liking how when you send an email, it shows up in all accounts as being sent. I would prefer to keep the accounts separate. This is problematic because when you look at the emails you send from the n900, it doesn't show anywhere which account it was sent from, I only see a "To:" at the heading of these emails. Makes it difficult to tell what account you sent it from if you don't remember.
