Why is Maemo.org so horribly slow?
 
Why is Maemo.org (especially garage and package interface) horribly slow at all times?

Because it's under an extremely heavy load.

New servers should be up in a few weeks.

You can follow the process in the ISP move wiki page and posts by ferenc and xfade in the Maemo workstream on Qaiku.

They are going to replace the N810 server with an N900 soon, now that the device finally shipped. :)
